Haunted Mohatta Palace Karachi, Pakistan


Mohatta Palace which is now a museum is having a very important position in the history of art and architecture of Pakistan. A worthy place to see beauties of Pakistan. It was constructed for Shivraj  Constructed Mohatta as a summer home who was an ambassador and a self-made businessman. This palace was built by taking inspiration from stone palaces of Rajasthan.
This building has underground tunnel less than 1 km long. It connects palace with the temple. It was built to provide a secure pathway to one of his wives so that she can go to the temple for her daily worship. Now it is locked from both sides.
It is said that this tunnel is the reason that this place is haunted. People think this pace is haunted by spirits of British Raj. When visitors are gone and evening starts, creepy activities starts to happen. Workers said that things start to move from one place to other. A light seems to move from one place to other when no one is inside the building. Some workers have also heard sounds of huge parties and wine glass floating.

There is also a group of workers who have opinion that nothing is wrong with this place. Whatever you believe but this building is worth to visit.
